Personal data 
The use of Design Democracy is generally possible without providing personal data. Personal data (e.g. name and e-mail address) is only collected and stored when participating in the poster competition. In this case, the information is always provided on a voluntary basis. When collecting personal data, it is only mandatory to provide the data that is required. We do not pass on your data to third parties without your express consent, especially not for advertising purposes! Personal data will only be passed on if you have explicitly consented or if we are obliged to do so due to legal provisions and/or official or court orders. 

If you send us an inquiry by e-mail, your data from this inquiry including the contact data you provided there will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We process the data transmitted by e-mail exclusively for the purpose of answering your inquiry. We do not pass on this data without your consent. We point out that data transmission over the Internet (eg communication by e-mail) security gaps. A complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Analysis services 
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of these websites is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
